Born and raised in the city of São Paulo, Lúcio Mattos has a degree in Journalism from São Paulo University, and worked in the news room for eight years, mostly covering economic topics.

After having worked on the media outlets Agência Folha, Panorama Brasil and Diário do Comércio e Indústria (DCI), he participated in the creation and development of Cool Cat Travel from the beginning, writing and editing the agency website, Cool Cat Travel Magazine and the Cool Cat Travel Guide. He is a partner and is responsible for Pertra’s content area.
