Educated as a mechanical engineer (with a degree from São Paulo University’s Polytechnic School), Alexandre entered the financial area in 1997, at Itaú Bankers Trust. He worked at Brahma from 1999 to 2005, a period which included the company’s merger with Antarctica and the formation of AmBev (currently ABInBev).

He helped to create Porto Forte S/A, a factoring and financial services company, and participated in the founding of Cool Cat Travel from the beginning, in 2005. He was the president of opticians Óticas Carol and is an advisor partner at Pertra.
